{Review} Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for sensitive skin has been my daily makeup remover since the first day I purchased it at Dischem , actually that was the very day they launched it in South Africa. It has become one of my holy grail products, but I always found it to be a bit drying – even though it is suited for sensitive skin my skin can get really dry so I found it to be lacking that hydrating feeling , one thing I won’t deny is how great this product is.

So when I saw that Garnier finally released their Micellar Cleansing Water for dry and sensitive skin I hurried to the closest Dischem and made sure I snatched one! It seems like Garnier answered my prays I thought that the cleansing water I had was the answer to my makeup removing troubles but this by far is the best cleansing water out of the range.

I can’t compare it to other cleansing waters but compared to my The Body Shop Chamomile Waterproof Makeup Remover this works just as well for the fraction of the price! The oil that’s infused really does make a major difference and I can’t see myself purchasing their version for sensitive skin again (that would be the pink bottle) I found it to be non greasy and removed my liquid lipstick with ease not to mention that stubborn mascara I always struggle with. What’s different about this oil infused cleansing water is of course the Argania Spinosa Oil aka Argan Oil that’s infused in the micellar cleansing water. It does nourish and hydrate the skin while removing any impurities and makeup.

What I’ve noticed is the scent, that refreshing Argan Oil scent makes my face smells so damn good! Best used with a cotton pad, remember to shake the bottle so that the formula activates – this Micellar Cleansing Water has honestly hit the original version out of the park and has become my new must have. Just like the others you do get a huge bottle of Micellar Cleansing Water which should equivalent to 200 uses , which means for the price you pay such a bargain I paid R80 at Dischem and I’m already thinking of buying another just so that I have them stocked up.
