20 Random Facts About Me

I am such a sucker for posts like these where we able to learn more about the people behind the blog.  I enjoy getting to know the people who’s behind the blogs I visit so often and get a feel for their personality.

I haven’t done one of these in awhile and thought I would share some random facts about me so that those of you lovelies who recently started following me or reading my blog can get a feel for who I am as a person who’s not always writing about my makeup obsessions.

Enough of the rambling let’s get started already!

1 –  I am 26! Old I know going to be down hill to 30!

2 –  I’m born on the first of April! I know April fools baby and haven’t I been teased a lot about it over the years.

3 –  I have one sibling who is 4 years younger then me her names Lauren and we always argue till this day we aren’t close.

4 –  I don’t have any tertiary education! Yip something I am embarrassed to share but because of financial problems and having only one parent I wasn’t able to study like I wanted to all I have is my high school diploma.  I would love to take up a course someday not sure what though!

5 – I was always Posh Spice, being a 90’s kid growing up with Spice Girls was the it group I was always Posh Spice because I was always considered the uptight girl in the community I grew up in.

6 – I have 3 tattoos! Which I’m thinking about getting another but not too sure.

7 – I was admitted to hospital at the age of 8 for really bad eczema,  this was the only time ever that I’ve spent in hospital which I stayed at for 4 weeks trying to get my skin better.

8 –  I can only speak two languages Afrikaans and English,  I had French classes for 4 months and till this day I only know a few words!

9 –  In my life I’ve only had 3 dogs and 1 cat,  because of losing them it has made me not want to get attached to animals.

10 –  I have not been at home with my mom since I was 19 years old,  since then I’ve had to financially support myself.  Which has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever done.

11 –  I have always been a loner.

12 –  I have trouble trusting people,  because of how bad I’ve been hurt with my parents it really has scared me.

13 –  I am the world’s biggest cluts! Things just drop out of my hand for no reason also I fall over my own feet.

14 –  Titanic is my favourite movie of all time,  I cry every time I watch it no matter how much I watch it,  it still gets me all emotional.

15 –  Talking about emotions – I am a very emotional person,  no matter how much I try to play the tough girl everything pulls at my heart strings and I get so emotionally invested in every thing.

16 –  I hate dark chocolate!

17 –  I had a lip and tongue ring which I removed.

18 –  I can’t dance nor sing to save my life!

19 –  I love the Chicago series like Chicago  Med, Fire and PD!

20 –  I am such a home body -my ideal weekend is spending it in bed watching series all weekend long.

    I’m turning 26 this year too, I feel that oldness too πŸ™ Omg I cry everytime when I watch Titanic as well, I’d say it’s one of my favourite all time movies too.

    You look way younger then 26, though 26 isn’t old!
    It is crazy just reading about you and how much we have in common. I’ve always been a loner myself.

    Candice, don’t feel bad about your education! Many people with higher degrees can’t find jobs. LOL The newest thing is to find a trade or skill that pays right away. Plus, you’re NOT old! You can always go back to school. It is hard trusting people. I’ve had my share of fake & phony friends. You have a loving boyfriend. You’re pretty. You have a lot to look forward to.

    Many things that you wrote are familar to me too;)
    Don’t be embarrassed that you don’t have a tertiary education. I will get this the next year and sure that I’ll never use that diploma.

      Hehe the back was the least painful experience. I have one on lower tummy and then my rest both of them was painful

    Oh no, I absolutely love dark chocolate! But I guess everyone has their preferences. Thanks for sharing these facts, I feel like I know a little more about you as a person as opposed to just learning about more makeup products. Great concept!
