August Beauty Favourites

Another month, another beauty favourites… August has a great month when it comes to new beauty products. Today I will be sharing my August Beauty Favourites, these are products I have been obsessed with during the month and thought it was worth sharing.

Surprisingly every product mentioned in this beauty favourites is all new products. With Spring in the air, these are the last Winter related products that will be featured on the blog for the year. Honestly, I cannot believe the year is going by so fast…

L’oreal Botanicals Fresh Care

A new haircare range that was launched by L’oreal the L’oreal Botanicals Fresh Care range has proven to be a great affordable haircare range. I have been in love with these it’s helped with bringing life to my lifeless coloured hair. This is a brand new range that L’oreal recently launched and I cannot wait to stock up on these.

The Body Shop Sheet Mask

Being a first-time sheet mask user, I have to admit I am rather impressed with this latest release from The Body Shop. They launched a range of Sheet Masks to help with different skincare needs. My favourite is the Vitamin E range, which is targeted at dry skin. I need to purchase more of these and stock up for when my skin feels extremely dry and lacklustre.

L’oreal Magic Retouch

Talking about coloured hair, the greys seemed to be growing so fast over the last few months. I have been needing to colour my hair more often… Call it old age of just plain stress. I have been loving the L’oreal Magic Retouch which has been a quick fix for when I need to go out and can quickly cover up those greys lurking around. These are also so affordable and have been available on the store shelves for quite some time.

Maybelline Tattoo Brow

I’ve only recently received the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Easy Peel-off tint and waterproof gel. These have worked so well in maintaining a good looking brow! I am a fan of a more minimal looking brow, I prefer to keep to the natural shape of my brow and these products allow me to do that. The easy-peel -ff tint is a great way to tint my brows at home.

Justine Tissue Oil

I have been using the Justine Tissue Oil all through August and its been working wonders in keeping my skin super hydrated and lightening some light scaring. The tissue oil keeps my skin hydrating for a longer period more than most products.

Avene Xeracalm Lipid Replenishing Balm

As you guys know I do suffer from severe eczema and unfortunately, that means that I have to be careful about what products I apply on my skin. I have used Avene products ever since the brand launched in South Africa. The popular Thermal Spring Water is a must in my household and has worked well in soothing my skin when it acts up. The Xeracalm range, in general, is amazing for those suffering from sensitive skin. It’s hydrating for the skin and has soothed my skin during the colder weather.
