Avène Thermal Spring Water

Avène is a fairly new brand to South Africa, they have only been around for about a few months. I am super late in purchasing the Avène Thermal Spring Water – this product has been reviewed by so many others before me.

I must admit I was hesitant to try the Avène Thermal Spring Water, I wasn’t sure if it was a product that would work for me. Recently I visited Clicks and finally gave in.

Avène says their Avène Thermal Spring Water is captured directly at its source, ensuring that all its soothing and softening properties are preserved.

You will feel wrapped in soothing softness. All the gentle purity of Avène Thermal Spring Water provides you with long-lasting protection.

Avène claims the Thermal Spring Water will help with the below;

  • Following a surgical procedure
  • Facial redness
  • Skin irritation Sunburn
  • Nappy rash
  • Following make-up removal
  • Following shaving
  • Following exercise
  • Following hair removal
  • During travel or sport to cool oneself

After just a few days of religiously using the Avène Thermal Spring Water day and night I have to say what I love most is the satisfying feeling of when the spring water touches my face. My face instantly feels relieved and soothing.  I have noticed that my skin does feel plump after use, it also settles any irritation I experience. I have mentioned on the blog before that I am an eczema sufferer so at times I usually feel a lot of irritation on my skin especially around my nose and eye area. Even when using eye creams and face creams, it doesn’t always help with that itchy sensation I am always having to deal with.

I was really sceptic about trying Avène, I must say the Thermal Spring Water definitely converted me to the brand. I do want to give the other products that Avène offers to say how that will help with my eczema issue. So far I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants something to assist with redness and itchiness. I purchased the Avène Thermal Spring Water  for R149 for 150ml bottle at Clicks, I can tell I am probably going to have to repurchase this soon.
