Beauty Tips Using Honey

Honey can be used for just about anything, not only is it used in cooking but honey also have really great properties to help your skin. Which is why you might come across many skincare, body and hair products that contain this natural product, because it’s moisturizing and leaves skin smooth and glowing. Today’s post is all about easy beauty tips using honey, it’s actually surprising at how many good uses there are for honey.

I thought I would share some beauty tips using honey, that you can easily fit into your beauty regime, as mentioned it’s really surprising to come across so many great uses for honey, a product that is mainly found in any household across the world.

Dy Lips – Winter is here, well at least for the Southern Hemisphere, dry lips will be bothering me lie a plague! Honey can be used to exfoliate your lips before going to bed.

Acne – You can use raw honey on the affected areas and cover it with a bandage. Leaving this overnight and the rinsing it with water the next morning.

Glowing Skin – As mentioned honey is great for glowing skin, mix one part honey and two parts aloe vera gel at night to achieve a natural glow.

Split Ends – Apply honey and olive oil to the ends of your hair to help get rid of annoying split ends.

DIY Face Mask – Honey can also be used with a number of other products like avocado and lemon, these are perfect for creating your very own face mask at home.

Lighten Scars –  Organic honey can be used on scars to help lighten them, apply a thin layer on the scar and let it sit overnight.

These are just some of the great uses for honey, there is still much more that can be used in your day to day life struggles.Honey is rich in enzymes, minerals, vitamins and amino acids – which is why it’s so useful not only for beauty hacks but also in medicines.
