I was totally surprised when I got home and found an Essie Winter Collection of nail polishes waiting for me! I have never really been a fan of Essie after trying one of their nail polishes a few years back.
Oh man, how wrong was I! I probably got a bad one or Essie improved their formula. Essie sent me six different nail polish shades in the Essie Collection I received.
Essie wanted to warm things up with a lovely winter collection, made up of favourite shades from previous collections. these shades include:
Licorice: a beguiling jet black cream
Bordeaux: a deep red wine
In Stitches: a cheeky blush pink
Chinchilly: a sleek granite grey
Satin Sister: a sleek ebony peacock blue
It’s Genius: violet quartz shimmer polish with beige undertones
These shades are beautifully curated for the Winter season! The shade of Bordeaux is probably one of my favourite shades to wear during the colder months.
The formula is great – it’s not thick at all and applies really well on my nails, the consistency doesn’t seem to clump up like my other nail polish, and they wear really nicely. I am rather curious and eager to try more Essie nail polishes. I know so many people that love the brand and literally only collect them.
Have you guys tried any of these Essie nail polishes before? Let me know in the comments section below, also I would love to know what is your favourite Essie shade in this year’s Winter Collection?
