Favourite Winter Colourpop Lippie Stix Shades

The weather has changed so much here in Cape Town, nights and mornings are colder – It finally feels like Winter is in the air (not quite), but it’s getting there. I am a lover of Winter  mainly because I get to wear layers of clothing, cozy under a blanket and spend most of my time in comfortable pj’s – I also get to whip out my dark lip shades, bring on deep reds, browns, and burgundy. With Winter making its way I thought I would share my Favourite Winter Colourpop Lippie Stix Shades with you guys.

I am such a fan of Colourpop, I wish I could purchase more of their products – but I rather spent my money on a new template for my blog that I got from Pipdig! The formula of their lippie stix are amazing, they are comfortable on the lips and doesn’t try out my lips. With Winter here dry, cracked lips are a major concern for me – with these I get a good colour pay off without it hurting my lips, they also wear really well especially their darker shades.

Brink ( Matte )

Brink is a beautiful matte terracotta rose shade, the fact that it’s a matte nude option gets me all excited! For the days I am not daring enough to wear a bold lip this is a number one option.

Trust Me ( Matte X )

Trust Me is a vivid true red, it’s in their matte x formula which was launched last year if I am not mistaken. It’s a red that looks amazing on any skin tone. They are a definite go to red for me, they’re perfect for a glammed look or for an event.

Chateau ( Matte X )

Chateau is another matte x formula Colourpop Lippie Stix, Colourpop describes it as a ‘blackened red’ – definitely an out there kind of shade. It’s gorgeous for those days I feeling more adventurous or on a date night with Justin.

So there you have it these are my current three favourite Winter Colourpop Lippie Stix shades, these are just the Colourpop Lippie Stix I currently have in my collection – I do plan on getting more to add to my Colourpop collection, I am a big fan of the lippie stix as mentioned they are perfect for someone who doesn’t like the feel of a liquid lipstick, but wants a lipstick that is comfortable to wear and lasts a decent amount of time throughout the day, niether of these shades apply patchy at all.
