It’s been almost two months since Justin and I tied the knot! Time is flying by and the last two months has also truly tested our relationship with moving homes and adding another puppy to our family. Today I wanted to talk about Finding My Dream Wedding Dress.
I have always been a no fuss kind of gal. I wanted a dress that was minimilst and comfortable. Comfort was my number one requirement for my dress. I knew I was going to be in a dress the entire day and wanted something I can easily move around in and not feel uncortable in.
With comfort and simplicity, I had a tight budget too. As mentioned in previous posts we didn’t have enough money in our budget to pay for the entire wedding ourselves which meant us cutting down on the things we thought was just not necessary. My dress was a complete bargain I paid about R1000 for this dress at YDE!
My dress is actually a bridesmaids dress which I thought was just perfect for the minimalist wedding we were planning especially with it being right on the beach front. It doesn’t have too much detail as I didn’t want anything too complicated. It has some stunning lace detailing which I adore and found that it added a real feminine touch.
I would highly recommend any bride to cut down the spending on a wedding dress, all that extra is not worth it at all. I am so happy with my choice and it is a dress I can wear to many other events too.
