First Time Cult Beauty Shopping Experience From South Africa

First Time Cult Beauty Shopping Experience From South Africa -1Shopping overseas can be a real pain living in South Africa. Not everyone has access to the Aramex Global Shopper Account. Which I use to order from overseas websites like Colourpop and Makeup Revolution. Today I thought it would be helpful to share my First Time Cult Beauty Shopping Experience From South Africa. Hopefully, this will help other ladies we really want to try these international brands without the hefty shipping costs.

Cult Beauty offers a wide variety of international brands like The Ordinary, Too Faced, Pixi Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury to just name a few.

I have been wanting to get my hands on The Ordinary products for a really long time. There are third-party websites that ship The Ordinary products in South Africa. Personally, I would prefer buying my own and not pay the jacked up prices which include their shipping.

The lovely Rachel from Top Knotch Blog ordered some The Ordinary products from Cult Beauty. She’s also from Cape Town and of course, I jumped at the chance and placed my order. When you sign up the first order you get free shipping! Yes, first time buyers get free shipping no matter where you from. Well, as long your country is listed on the website.

How Do I Start?

Signing up and ordering was super easy, this was the first time I ordered from Cult Beauty and it was a pleasure. I chose the items I wanted and checked out. My entire order only came to just over £12 that’s just over R200 minus shipping of course because that was free. I only ordered three items, I didn’t want to ordered items just in case I didn’t like these.

I am really impressed with the service on Cult Beauty it took a total of four days for delivery, which is pretty impressive seeing as the fact that this parcel came from the UK to Cape Town. Some local brands take longer to deliver.

I would highly recommend you have a look at Cult Beauty! I will be testing The three The Ordinary products I bought and share my reviews on Natalya Amour soon.

My only gripe with Cult Beauty is I always get hit with custom fees and huge ones too. 🙁 Personally I prefer shopping through Beautylish because they have an option where I pay the duties upfront and it’s usually much cheaper.

That’s the problem for Canada, anything more than $20CAD gets hit by custom, it’s crazy!
