Holiday Wrap Up

Holiday Wrap Up -1

The holidays are officially over! I honestly can’t believe that the holidays literally flew by. I didn’t get most of the things I wanted to do. I always feel that time gets away from me so fast. Today I thought I would share a Holiday Wrap Up post to share what I got up to for over the mere two weeks Iof holiday I had.

My holidays were pretty chilled, I spent most of the time at home. Justin and I had a family Christmas braai ( for my international babes, a braai is a bbq). By family, I just mean the two of us. I don’t really celebrate Christmas the traditional way.

The rest of my holidays we spent it visiting friends and having friends over and you guessed it more braais. I also spent an unhealthy amount of time at the mall. Also sadly spent way too much money then I should have.

It was really amazing having some quality time to ourselves – work can get so busy. It’s hard to make time just the two of us especially and yes we do live together. Most of that time is spent at work, by the time we get home –  it’s dinner and bed.

Holiday Wrap Up -2

Our wedding will be at the end of 2018! So the next few months I will be focusing a lot of my time and energy planning. Luckily we are planning an intermit garden wedding. With only a handful of people that we are really close to. I am so glad we decided on having a small wedding, it’s taking so much pressure off us. We still haven’t decided on a honeymoon location yet.  That means we will have to brainstorm and come up with something fast.

Nothing exciting to mention about my holidays, it was pretty laid back. Now I am back at work and I am rather excited for 2018 and what it has in store for me!
