Blogging takes lots of work, whether I am writing new content, taking blog photos and scheduling social media content. There is so much work involved… Not that I am complaining, I absolutely love planning my content especially when it comes to Instagram. I like to consider myself more of a visual person… I thought it would be helpful to show you all How I Plan My Instagram Feed to help me save time.

When you have a full time job, planning and scheduling your blog and social media content is key. Doing things last minute gives me so much anxiety, there’s nothing more then I dislike it feeling pressured because I left things till the last minute.

Instagram Scheduling Apps Are A Lifesaver

To keep myself organized and to help me save time I schedule my Instagram feed days or weeks in advance depending on how far along my blog posts are.


I can not stress enough how much of a help it has been. There are two specific apps that I use to curate and plan my Instagram feed and that’s Planoly and Later. I think I have already mentioned these apps before. I have basically been alternating between the two both are really good, for some reason I love the look at feel of Planoly more. Below I have listed the pros and cons for both apps that might help you with your decision.

Pros

  • It’s free. The free version gives you 30 posts you can schedule.
  • Can be used on phone and web application
  • Allow to save hashtag groups
  • Auto publish posts

Cons

  • You only get 30 posts a month to use
  • You can’t schedule multi-photos
  • Can check analytics
  • Can directly reply to 5 latest Instagram comments on posts
  • No hashtag suggestions

Later


Pros

  • It’s free. The free version gives you 30 posts you can schedule, but you also get option to invite friends and earn 10 free a month.
  • Can be used on phone and web application
  • Allow to save hashtag groups
  • Auto publish posts
  • Can check analytics

Cons

  • You can’t schedule multi-photos
  • Can only connect one profile
  • It doesn’t have hashtag suggestions
    Both apps are so similar, it’s definitely a personal choice on what you like.
