L’oreal has been launching quite a few new products lately. One of them is the L’oreal Infaillible Longwear Shaping Stick Sculptant Foundation. I have never tried stick foundations before, so this is a completely new experience for me.

L’Oreal Paris Infaillible Stick Foundation that has an ultra-creamy formula that melts into skin for a matte, flawless finish without a white cast or flashback. Build up coverage to your preference and enjoy a shine-free base that lasts 24 hours. Use it as an all-rounder in your makeup collection to highlight, contour or conceal.

I was sent 9 different shades listed below;

130 – Vanilla

140 – Natural Rose

160 –  Sand

180 – Radiant Beige

190 – Golden Beige

200 – Honey

210 – Cappuccino

220 – Toffee

240 – Espresso

I’ve been testing these foundations for the last few weeks and I’ve been quite enjoying it. The formula is creamy and blends really well. I’ve used it with a brush which I found did not blend well. I find that using a beauty sponge is best. The foundation blends like a dream, with the beauty sponge. I find that you have to use quite a bit of the product to give a medium coverage. This foundation stick is definitely buildable. I feel like this is more of a light to medium coverage foundation.

It didn’t look cakey at all, I normally use a primer and setting spray when using foundations and did the same with this. I used the darker shade Espresso as a bronzer, which at first I thought would be too dark. However it blended like a dream and gave me the perfect bronze look.

My final thoughts are that this L’oreal Infaillible Longwear Shaping Stick Sculptant Foundation is definitely worth purchasing, it’s so much easier and cleaner using a stick foundation. It doesn’t give you the full coverage looks like a liquid foundation. But, I love the medium coverage it gives me for everyday wear.

For some reason, stick foundations never work well on my skin. They always look like they’re sitting on it! xx

I can totally see that, I did struggle a bit with this one. I found that a sponge works the best to blend the product.

Oh yes, I found that a sponge works the best. It just didn’t want to blend correctly using a brush.

I haven’t tried these but I prefer medium coverage that blends nicely instead of full coverage, especially now that the weather is changing!!

This one is definitely more for everyday wear, i wouldn’t consider it full coverage more of a light to medium builable coverage foundation.

I haven’t tried a stick foundation yet because I love the liquid ones! It is lovely that they come in so many shades though.

This sounds like a great foundation! I’ve not tried a lot of stick foundations, but I really like L’Oreal’s foundation so I’ll give it a go.

I really like the original Loreal Infallible foundation! How would you compare it with that? I’m glad to hear you had a good experience, I know you said it’s not as full coverage as the liquid, but is it more drying or oily? Great post Natalya xxx
