Must Have WordPress Plugins

Must Have WordPress Plugins -01I have been using WordPress for about two years now. Honestly migrating my blog from Blogger which I spent another two years on has been the best decision I could’ve made for my blog. Finding the right platform for your blog is definitely a personal choice. I know many bloggers who prefer the Blogger platform. Today I thought I would share my Must Have WordPress Plugins that has made things a bit easier.

WordPress offers so many plugins it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. As mentioned I moved my blog over to WordPress.org which gives me the freedom to do whatever I want with my blog yet have the structure of WordPress backend. I am currently using a Pipdig template which I purchased a while ago, this is my second Pipdig template and I am just so in love with it. If you want a good template it’s definitely something worth investing in and will last you years. It easier to just change up the colours and layout if you are looking to change things up. The only reason I had to purchase a new Pipdig template is that the previous one was an older one and it didn’t have all the functionalities as this one does.

So, on to the reason for me writing this post – So sorry for the rambling!

Yoast | Probably the most important plugin! Yoast is just a must-have plugin for all bloggers, it helps so much to improve your SEO. Without it I would honestly have a shit ass blog that not optimised!

MailChimp | I recently recreated a weekly newsletter that basically shares my posts for the week. I know my lovely readers have busy lives just like I do so it’s a great way to tell them what they might have missed. It’s also an awesome way to connect and share giveaways you might have. The MailChimp plugin allows you to check how many subscribed to your blog. You also have an option to add a popup subscribe form which you can create on Mailchimp website and add the code here.

Google Analytics | Another must have a plugin that helps you track all the traffic to your blog! Every blogger should have this installed too. It’s just easier to have everything in one place.

Revive Old Post | This plugin has been a saviour! You can easily share your old posts automatically on your social media platforms. I usually have this done on my Facebook and Twitter, it a great way to share older content that people might have missed and create more traffic to your website. Be sure not to spam though.. You do have the option to set how often you want a post to be sent. I usually have it one post a day.

So basically that’s My Must Have WordPress Plugins. I hope you guys found this useful, these are literally the plugins I just can’t live without and have made things a bit my easier for me.
