NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator

NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator -1

A month or so ago I shared with you guys some New Beauty Buys I made. One of these items was the NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator. This is the only NYX Cosmetics item I’ve purchased and you guys know how much I love highlighters.

The NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator delivers some shimmer to your skin for a healthy, summer-ready glow. Can also be used to highlight certain areas on the face and body.

I purchased the shade GLEAM, which is a peach highlighter. It also comes in a 15ml tube and retails for around R150 at Clicks stores and online.

I’ve been wanting to try NYX beauty products for ages, and honestly, I am not quite sure why I haven’t dabbled in this brand before.

I’ve heard some mixed reviews and some saying that they found this to be a glittery highlighter. Personally, I love this! I found it to be quite similar to the Revlon Skin Lights Illuminator which I have been obsessed with for so many years and glad I found something similar.

I would definitely want to try the other Born To Glow Liquid Illuminators. I’m obsessed when it comes to luminous products. Highlighters are currently the one makeup item I have to use every day!

The NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator comes in Four Shades;
  • Sun Beam – Pale Pink Pearl
  • Gleam – Golden Peach Pearl
  • Pure Gold – Gold Pearl
  • Sun Goddess – Bronze Pearl

I’ve found that these blend really well… I simply add a bit with my fingers I find that works best for me. NYX does recommend that you can wear this under or over your foundation. Normally I add it over my foundation on the areas that I know hit the light.

Have you tried the NYX Born To Glow Illuminator? Let me know in the comments below if you enjoyed it or not?

    I’ve wanted to try these for ages as I’ve heard they are amazing dupes for the Nars Cocobana illuminizers? I think I clocked the shade Sun beam but they are so all so pretty although I thought you were to mix it into your foundation! Whoops thank god I haven’t yet as probably would have ended up as a disco ball shiny mess everywhere! xx

    I’ve really been trying into non-powder highlighters. It’s definitely been tricky as I naturally gravitate towards powder highlighters because application takes me 5 seconds where as with liquid products i’m more awkward, but I definitely need to check these nyx ones out – they sound awesome!

      I know what you mean. I find that tapping this into the skin gives a more natural looking glow.
