{Review} Essence Cosmetics “Get The Picture Ready” Range

Essence Cosmetics send over some brand new makeup they released for their 2016 Summer season and from these products are there “Get The Picture Ready”  range which I was sent the foundation compact and the concealer.

Essence claims these to be their long lasting compact makeup “provides an instant flawless and even finish” and their get ready brightening concealer as “the high coverage texture and light reflecting pigments makes dark shadows under eyes disappear.”

I have been trying these out for a few days and thought I would sure my honest opinions like we always do here. You guys know how much I love my Essence but sadly this range was just a complete miss for me and heres why.

Firstly let’s talks about the foundation compact,  the idea is brilliant one side product and an easy to use compact containing the sponge on the other hand. I an not sure if it was the shade that was sent to me which was completely wrong,  way too light.  I found that this foundation wasn’t as high coverage as I expected,  best used for Summer for a no makeup look it doesn’t cover up spots as I would’ve liked and because of the wrong shade this has become a pretty munch an unwearable product for me, unless I seriously want to look like a ghost.  A for packaging but just not the product for me regarding formula.

Now for the brightening concealer,  another disapproval from me.  The sponge is just terrible it’s not as soft as I thought it would be I literally can’t apply the concealer with it I have to squeeze the products and apply with fingers or also brush. Again shade is definitely suited for someone of pale skin colour doesn’t suit me as all which again I can’t make use of unless I do use it for highlighting. The formula just wasn’t that great for me, it didn’t cover my circles as stated.

To be honest I don’t really want to talk more regarding these I am really disappointed with these two products which is quite sad because I love the brand like you guys know! Sorry Essence I just didn’t like these not sure if it was because if bad colour matched products or just formulation is general but other products Essence makes is way better.
