{Review} Essence I ♥ Nude Eyeshadow Collection_02

I have been obsessed with nudes lately whether it’s eyeshadows, lipsticks or nail polish – it it’s nude I am all over it. I was thrilled when Essence sent myself and other South African beauty bloggers some of their latest products for this season. Today’s post is all about Essence I ♥ Nude Eyeshadow Collection.

If I were to write about all the products in the Essence nude collection this post would be way too long, the last thing I want is for you guys to get bored and loose interest halfway through this post and I like straight to the point concise posts. So I have split up this post into a series that will talk about lips products and the nail polishes that also form part of the Essence I ♥ Nude Collection and this one will be focusing on the eyeshadows I received.

Essence claims that these I ♥ nudes eyeshadows are light and soft with a silky to matt finish and it gives a natural look.

Do I agree with this? Yes! These I ♥ nudes single eyeshadows are definitely light and silky I also agree that they are soft like I mean super soft, which is really awesome!

Let’s talk about longevity – I know all of you are wondering(Well that’s great Candice, but how long do they last?) I haven’t used them without an eyeshadow primer so on their own I am honestly not sure how long they really last without it. With mt Avon eyeshadow primer they stay put all day with no smudging or running off my face by lunch time and making me look like a zombie.

These eyeshadows are extremely soft and wearable, they blend like a dream! These are also perfect for an everyday makeup look and can easily go from a day time look to a night time look.

Essence eyeshadows I’ve received:

01 – Vanilla Sugar

06 – Coffee Bean

They all retail for R47.95 each at any Dischem and Clicks stores, in my opinion that’s an affordable price for the quality you getting. My favorites are the shade Vanilla Sugar is perfect for highlighting especially the brow bone to apply to the inner corners of the eyes and I also love Coffee Bean, I use this to create a beautiful smoky eye.

Overall I think that these eyeshadows are a bargain and they apply really well, these are definitely one of the best Essence eyeshadows I’ve tried.Essence just proved once again why ladies love the brand so much, great quality at affordable prices!
