{Review} Essence Cosmetics Volume Mascaras

Essence Cosmetics Volume Mascaras_01

Essence Cosmetics has stolen my heart so many times – I just can’t help but fall in love with not only the insanely cheap makeup prices but the quality of their products.

A time and time again Essence Cosmetics surprises me and reminds me why I keep repurchasing their products! Today I share my favourite mascaras by Essence to create beautiful voluminous lashes and doing so on a budget as we all know January is probably one of the worst months, well money wise I am always the poorest during the month of January because I tend to over spend during the holidays – I would think that I would’ve learnt my lesson by now, but I always get caught up in getting everyone presents and feel bad when I don’t.

I actually got sent these just before the holidays and honestly I have loved them. I was sent the Essence Multi-Action Volume Mascara and the I Love Extreme Waterproof Volume mascara.

Here my thoughts on these two Essence Cosmetics volume mascaras.

Multi Action Volume Mascara R47.95

Essence claims that this mascara is an all-rounder and provides lashes with extra volume and visible length whilst separating the brushes with its unique wand. I have seen a few wands similar to this one on the market, but haven’t really used anything like this, I found that this mascara does separate my lashes really well and it does create a good amount of volume. Although it doesn’t really give me as much volume as my Maybelline Lash Sensation Mascara which is currently my favourite mascara of all time. I actually use this Multi-Action mascara as my everyday mascara, it works well I usually just add one coat which is more than enough for me.

I love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof R53.95

I have used the normal I love Extreme Volume Mascara (which is the pink and black one) and I wasn’t too impressed with it, but many have loved it. I was a bit skeptic to try the waterproof version – I really wanted to see whether it will hold , as my eyes tend to water a lot on some days for no reason and always find that my mascara gets destroyed in the process. I really like this wand, compared to the Multi-Action mascara I found that this one didn’t separate my lashes as much, but I really like the overall look my lashes are voluminous and with no smudging which I do love.

I have really been enjoying both of these mascara , but do find myself using the Multi-Action mascara more, mainly because I don’t always need a waterproof mascara. For the price these are both really good mascara options! So if you are like me and always looking for a budget friendly mascara then I definitely recommend that you check out Essence Cosmetics mascaras, there are so many other mascaras that they offer – I am sure you will find one that you love.
