SkinPHD Eye Makeup Remover

A few weeks ago SkinPHD had a launch in store. They actually gave out little goodie bags too, which was really cool. I just visited them to get a hair appointment like I always do, so it was such a nice surprise that they gave me the SkinPHD Eye Makeup Remover.

I have never used any Skin PHD products before, so I was thrilled to give this eye makeup remover a try.

SkinPHD Eye Makeup Remover -2

SkinPhD Eye Make-Up Remover is a delicate product formulated to remove even the toughest make up while being soft and soothing on the eye area. This unique formula contains moisturising actives leaving the cleansed and hydrated.

The bottle size is 100ml and retails for R175 – It’s quite a small bottle compared to my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and the Bioderma which is slightly more expensive.

I usually just use the Garnier Oil Infused Micellar water, it’s cheap and does the job good to my frank. I love the packaging of this SKinPHD Eye Makeup Remover it’s sleek with a touch of silver at the top. The spritzer makes it so much easier to control how much product you use. I can’t express how many times I wasted my Micellar Water because the bottle just fell over.

Apply Eye Makeup Remover on a cotton pad and gently remover your eye makeup on and around your eye area.

It removes mascara like a dream, that’s usually the one makeup item I struggle in removing with ease. I have to admit I am rather impressed, is it worth R175? I’m still on the fence about this. Personally, I wouldn’t spend that type of money on an item out of my price range. If I had the money to spend I would definitely purchase this. If you are like me and always strapped for cash then the Micellar Water works just fine.

I’m just like you, I’m always happy to try something a little more fancy, but the garnier micellar water is so inexpensive and it works so so well 🙂

What a nice surprise to have been able to test this out! That’s definitely pricey for an eye remover, but if it works great and the ingredients are beneficial for the eyes and prevents aging, then I’d purchase. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

This sounds like such a wonderful product. I find that some of my mascaras are slightly trickier to remove and this sounds like the perfect solution.

Love a good eye makeup remover, but I’m not sure I’d spend that much either! Especially when micellar water works just as well (or close enough!).

This sounds like a great product but I agree, it’s not a part of my skincare routine I spend a lot of money on as micellar water or a good balm cleanser will take it off.
