Summer Skincare Saviours Part 1

Summer Skincare Saviours Part 1 -1

So far, this Summer has been brutal… I have had so many breakouts, but luckily I have been using loads of different skincare products that has helped me so much. This post will showcase my Summer Skincare Saviours, this will be a 2 part series of posts as there are just so many to mention and you guys know how I feel about posts being too lengthy.

2018 has been a year where I truly invested in skincare products. I have never been the type of person who was too fussed about in-depth skincare routine and mainly just stuck to wearing a day and night cream and that’s it.

I soon realised that I seriously needed to start taking better care of my skin, I am only getting older and have to preserve my face as long as I possibly can.

With that being said I have used so many new products… Especially with us being in the middle of Summer I find that I have been getting quite a few heat rashes. I have always been the type of person who doesn’t do well in heat, my skin does take more strain with the continuous dripping of sweat which irritates my skin.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

For Summer I try and opt for a fresh and lightweight product. This one has a gel formula that will give your skin a daily boost of radiance and hydration. With vitamin C, it awakens and clarifies your complexion, revealing a natural healthy looking glow.

Elizabeth Arden Skin Illuminating Brightening Hydragel Cream

A lightweight, oil-free gel cream that melts into the skin where it intensely brightens and hydrates. Skin Illuminating Brightening Hydragel Cream has effective brighteners that also fades the look of dark spots and mini-hyaluronic acid to plump skin with long-lasting hydration.

Elizabeth Arden Probiotic Cleanser Whip To Clay

This whipped mousse cleanser transforms into a mineral-rich clay to purify, prep and infuse skin with protective probiotics to support the skin’s natural defences. Use with water, it gently foams into a soft lather to rinse away makeup and impurities.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist

One of my holy grail products and a must to soothe, refresh and hydrate the skin. This is definitely a Summer must have skincare product.

Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream

I’ve had this sample for ages! This facial cream provides concentrated immediate & long-term hydration for an ultr– radiant complexion.

SVR SPF50 Optical Blur Mousse Cream

How can you survive Summer without SPF, I can’t stress enough how important using SPF in your skincare routine is The Optical Blue Mousse Cream from SVR contains an apricot foam texture. It’s a cream between sun protection and make-up basis that is perfectly suited to the skin that is hypersensitive to the sun. Its formula resists to water and friction for an optimum protection and can even be applied on wet skin. Triple action thanks to the Integral Secure Technology it:

Mixa Cica Repair Balm

Since the brand was introduced to the South African market last year, I have been a tiny bit obsessed with the brand. They are affordable and effective! I’ve been using a lot the Cica Repair Balm. It is a fast-absorbing lotion enriched with panthenol which helps to repair and restore moisture to the skin. It’s rich formula soothes the skin and it is paraben free.

There are so many new products I have been using during the Summer that I had to break up this post in two parts. Expect A Summer Skincare Saviours Part 2 post soon. What are your Summer skincare saviours? Let me know in the comments below.
