As you guys might know Cape Town has been hit with one of the worst droughts in its history. We all have been cutting down on our water consumption as best as we can. This is where dry shampoos have been a lifesaver! You can definitely Survive The Cape Town Drought With Batiste, that’s what I’ve been doing.
Batiste has basically been my go to dry shampoo brand to use. They have so many different scents. I find that for a brunette or darker hair the one for Beautiful Brunette is the best.
During the drought in Cape Town, I have been washing my hair less. I have been washing my hair once a week or even one and a half weeks if I can. The Batiste dry shampoo has really helped me use less water and preventing the need for me to wash them as regular as before.
I have such an array of scents to help your hair smell good and it helps absorb that extra oils. My hair usually starts to get oily by day three. I do find that some of their scents leave more residue than others, however like the Beautiful Brunette, I hardly get any residue. For the price, this is one of the most affordable dry shampoos on the market which you can get at Clicks and Dischem stores.
How To Use: Shake the bottle vigorously. Keep the nozzle about 30cm from the head section hair and spray to the roots, working all over your head. Massage thoroughly into the roots. Gently brush the hair from your roots to ends to remove excess residue.
