How To Survive Winter

How To Survive Winter -1Winter is here and I couldn’t be happier! I am definitely a winter lover, I prefer cosying up with Lilly and watching my favourite series! I have collaborated with Mixa on today’s post and share my tips on How To Survive Winter.

Take Care Of Your Skin

Winter can be harsh on your skin, so it’s important to use products that will hydrate your skin. I have been using a range of Mixa products which has done an amazing job in keeping my skin hydrated and feeling smooth. Nobody has time for dry, aching skin in Winter. Mixa is also Dermatologically tested, they are the sensitive skin expert. They have different products to suit all skin needs and what’s even better is that they are super AFFORDABLE.

Face Masks

I tend to use more face masks in Winter, as mentioned Winter can be tough on the skin. My skin gets generally super dry in Winter so I use more face masks. Of course, L’Oréal pure clay masks has been my go to.

Cosying Up With Series

I refuse to go out during Winter, especially when it’s raining! Winter is the perfect time to catch up on my favourite series. Currently, I have been watching a ton of new Netflix movies and series. As you guys know I have a puppy Lilly and she has been literally laying in bed with me and she has been loving the cuddles.

Warm Drinks

How else are you going to survive Winter without your favourite hot drinks? We have been loving the Chamomile, lavender and vanilla tea from Woolworths! Of course HOT CHOCOLATE!! I can’t go through Winter with at least a few cups of hot chocolate during the week. I don’t have them too often…

Mixa has also been very generous and provided a discount code to give you lovelies 20% off your Mixa purchase on TAKEALOT!! I mean how amazing is that?! When checking out add the code CANDICE20 and BOOM 20% off!

Definitely agree about the face masks – I pamper my skin WAY more in the winter than I do in the summer! Something about the long nights and colder weather really puts me in the mood!

I’m also such a winter lover. I love the cool crisp cosy weather, I can’t stand heatwaves & hot days unless its a beach day (and I hardly get to go to the beach). This winter weather has been drying out my skin like crazy and my hands are also so dry. I’ve started incorporating facial oils into my routine as well as lots of hydrating face masks. Nothing beats cosying up in bed watching movies / Tv shows. Great post.
