Planoly has been my preferred Instagram Planner for a few years now. I started out using their free plan for the longest time, before taking the plunge and subscribing to a paid plan. I recently asked the question on my Instagram Stories and many of you were interested in learning more about Planoly and how I use Planoly to schedule my Instagram posts. This is Why I Love Planoly (And You Should, Too!)
I’ve used both Planoly and Later… Planoly Vs Later is one of the most searched phrases on Google and I can see why. Both platforms are amazing, they both are similar, however, Later does offer the option to schedule on Twitter separately to Facebook whereas Planoly doesn’t. However, with that being said, Planoly does offer users to automatically scheduled to both Facebook and Instagram in the same post on when scheduling your Instagram feed post. Sadly, this is an option only available to paid users.
There are so many reasons why I have chosen Planoly over Later and these are the main reasons why.
Planoly Best Time To Post
Planoly has the best time to post feature, yes Later overs this as well to their paid users. I just love the Planoly version of this. It doesn’t clutter my calendar and the entire look of Planoly it just up my alley.
Planoly Desktop
Both Planoly and Later offers you to schedule on a desktop. I spend a lot of time on my computer and enjoy scheduling my content on a desktop I have more real estate to work with. I love the Planoly’s desktop layout it’s aesthetically pleasing to look at and easier to use.
Is Planoly Free
Planoly does have a free option, which I suggest you try out if you are new to trying out Instagram schedulers or on the fence on which platform is right for you. The free plan gives you 30 free posts and Instagram Stories that you can schedule. On Planoly you can automatically post your Instagram feed posts, as long as they are not a video of a multi-image post. Please keep in mind that you can’t post Instagram Stories automatically to your Stories this can’t be done on all Scheduling platforms and is something Instagram does not allow.
Planoly Facebook
As mentioned paid users can automatically post your Instagram post to both Facebook and Twitter, simply move the toggle if you wish to. This saves you so much time so that you don’t have to do this separately.
Planoly Pinterest
The great thing about Planoly is that they are a preferred Pinterest partner. I can easily schedule my pins straight from the Planoly website and Planoly also has a Chrome extension which makes it even easier to schedule any image that you want to on Planoly. You only get 30 free pins to schedule a month with a paid user but that’s fine with me.
Planoly has so many amazing features, from filters and a crop feature. Planoly also allows you to easily swap out images this is extremely useful when you want to make some slight adjustments to an image or perhaps you feel like changing the entire image that is better suited to our post. This is something that Later lacks, however totally doable with Planoly.
Planoly Analytics
Planoly has an amazing analytics page, you can easily track how well or bad your posts are doing. This will give you an idea of what kind of posts your followers enjoy. It’s super easy to understand which I do appreciate. So even if you’re a novice you will be able to understand how the analytics work.
Planoly Comments
Planoly also has a fabulous comment section, you can efficiently reply to your comments in one place without having to go on the Instagram app. This is useful If you don’t have your phone with you but want to be up to date with your Instagram comments.
If you are on the fence with which platform to use, this I would highly recommend Planoly. It’s free to try out and their website and customer support are brilliant. The Solo paid plan that I am on is about $9 USD a month on the apply app its R145 a month which I feel is relatively affordable for what you are getting. You can post as many posts on your Instagram feed without being limited to only 30 posts.
