Winter Skincare Saviors

This Winter has been brutal, which means my skin has also taken a knock due to this. I’ve been dealing with extremely dry skin to the point where they ache throughout the day. Today I will be sharing my favourite Winter Skincare Saviors that has saved my skin during the cold weather.

Some of these brands have been a staple in my skincare regime. If something works well for me I usually stick to it.

Winter Skincare Saviors

Justine Tissue Oil

I’ve been using the Justine Tissue Oil for a good three or so weeks now. Due to my eczema, I have been left with a few scars which just hasn’t gone away. The Justine Tissue Oil has been working wonders in hydrating my skin for hours… It’s also helped lighten a few of the scars I had. This is such a brilliant tissue oil for those suffering from extremely dry skin.

The Body Shop 48 hr Intense Moisture Body Butter

The Body Shop Body Butters has always been a staple in my skincare collection. I love trying different scents when my skin is in a good place. This one is one of my favourite scents and the more milder scent which is perfect for my skin. I love the thick, creamy and buttery formula of these body butter.

Mixa Body Lotion

Since Mixa launched in South Africa, I’ve always made sure I have a few backups. Mixa body lotions are super hydrating for the skin. Due to their ingredients, they are also safe to use on sensitive skin. These are definitely one of my must-have lotions for dry skin. They are also really affordable and widely available.

Avene Xeracalm Lipid Replenishing Balm

One of the latest skincare addition in my collection. Avene is safe to use on the entire family and perfect for those suffering from eczema or even when your skin is irritated. I usually use it when my skin is feeling worse for wear. The replenishing balm is quick-absorbing and soothes my skin.

There are many more products I keep in my skincare rotation, these are the ones I tent to you more often. What are your Winter Skincare Saviors, let me know in the comment section below.
